Whether you're creating a one-off task to handle a client's cash request or setting up a recurring task to handle quarterly cash distributions, Tamarac CRM allows you to track your tasks increasing efficiency by providing transparency on what work needs to be completed for a client and the person responsible for completing that work. Additionally, you will be able to see a history of completed work for the client and when that work was completed.

The general Task Management flow follows three main steps:

  1. Begin the appropriate Process. This may be a process that your firm has established internally or a process that you have built in CRM.

Be sure to check with your firm's Data Manager to understand which process you should be following.

  1. Create Tasks (manually or Through Process).Once you have created activities for yourself and other people at your firm, it is important to know where to find them. There are views set up in Tamarac CRM to help you find and manage your activities. The My Activities view allows you to manage all the activities you're responsible for completing.

  2. Mark the Task complete once you're done working on it.Once a Task has been completed, you will want to mark it complete. This allows you to track the history of items that have been completed for your clients and differentiate between pending tasks and those that have been resolved.

To complete a Task, open the Task and on the command bar, click Mark Complete.

Once you complete a Task, it becomes read-only and you will no longer be able to make edits.

You can send an email with the information on the completed activity by using Ping!. Click here for more information on Ping!
