The Amount to Raise field in the security reserve for an account gives you a calculation of what actions need to be taken to address cash needs. You can’t edit this field directly. It is calculated as the absolute value of the following:

| Total security reserve – Total beginning security reserve |= Amount to Raise

The field name changes to Amount for Trading if Tamarac Trading calculates excess security reserve in the account that can be sold to meet the stated cash needs.
